Position Overview:
FINSYNC is looking for a highly qualified, results driven professional eager to join our fast growing company and help drive further growth as an Account Executive. We are looking for a self-starter who enjoys rapid growth and expanding with new relationships and markets. You will be responsible for onboarding and maintaining relationships with our accounting partners and their customers. You will leverage your business development experience to work closely with our accounting partners and their customers to ensure success for all stakeholders, and ensure results are tracked.
Key Responsibilities:
Relationship Building
- Develop and nurture relationships with accountants in communities where COs have joined the FINSYNC network.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for accountants, providing guidance on integrating their services with the FINSYNC platform.
Collaboration
- Partner with the Business Development team to identify strategic opportunities for connecting accountants with COs and entrepreneurs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align resources, training, and communication strategies that support accountants.
Accountant Recruitment
- Identify, outreach, and onboard accountants interested in supporting entrepreneurs through FINSYNC.
- Source leads, prospect partners, and develop a pipeline.
- Showcase the value of FINSYNC tools and resources for accountants to streamline their support for clients.
Training and Enablement
- Conduct demonstrations and training sessions for accountants to educate and familiarize them with the FINSYNC platform’s capabilities.
- Develop resource materials and best practices to ensure accountants can effectively serve clients.
- Drive familiarity with the solution and show success.
Community Impact
- Facilitate connections between accountants and entrepreneurs, creating a network of trusted resources.
- Monitor and report on the impact of these relationships in driving entrepreneurial success.
Measure Success
- Know and drive metrics reflective of success. Measure the growth of our partners, their customer base and their success with our platform.
Continuous Improvement
- Gather and analyze feedback from accountants to inform product and service enhancements.
- Deliver recommendations for improvement and work to solve problems
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends to anticipate needs and opportunities for accountants and COs.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of business development experience or customer and partner engagement for a software product.
- Bachelor Degree - Bonus: Finance Background
- A collaborative approach to phone, video, email and other communications
- Attention to detail and strong task management skills
- Proven experience in sales, account management, or community engagement, preferably in financial services or technology.
- Strong understanding of accounting practices and the needs of small businesses and entrepreneurs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build lasting professional relationships.
- Familiarity with SaaS platforms and an aptitude for explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills.
- Passion for supporting entrepreneurial growth and community development.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with or as an accountant.
- Knowledge of cash flow management or financial technology platforms.
- Background in business development or partnerships in a B2B context.
- Understanding small business accounting with proven success in the SMB space
- Professional experience working for a fintech company or past experience with HubSpot
