Position Overview:
As the Partner Success Manager at FINSYNC, you are responsible for helping community-based organizations successfully adopt, integrate, and utilize the FINSYNC platform to better serve entrepreneurs. The primary focus of this role is working with Entrepreneurial Support Organizations (ESOs)—including community organizations, accelerators, nonprofits, financial institutions, and education partners—to understand their programming models and guide the effective adoption of FINSYNC tools within those offerings.
This role also supports the execution of entrepreneur cohorts and programs - including partner-led initiatives and CO.STARTERS where applicable - ensuring that both program delivery and FINSYNC utilization are aligned, intentional and impactful. The role balances strategic partner advising with hands-on enablement and support ensuring entrepreneurs experience clear value and progress towards financial readiness and funding.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Guidance & Partner Adoption
Build and maintain strong relationships with community-based partner organizations, helping them understand the value of FINSYNC and how to integrate the platform into their entrepreneur support models.
Advise partners on how to effectively integrate FINSYNC tools—including CO.STARTERS where applicable—into their existing entrepreneur support offerings.
Support partners in aligning with local ecosystem stakeholders—including banks, lenders, investors, economic development organizations, and mentors—to improve outcomes for entrepreneurs.
Act as a strategic thought partner to help organizations evolve their programming to meet entrepreneurs where they are and guide them toward capital readiness.
Program & Platform Execution Support
Support partners in the effective execution of entrepreneur programs and cohorts, including partner-led initiatives and CO.STARTERS where applicable, with an emphasis on intentional FINSYNC utilization.
Support and guide Program Administrators, facilitators, and instructors to ensure program quality, consistency, and effective use of FINSYNC tools and CO.STARTERS curricula when used.
Partner with Business Development and Product teams to educate, train, and support organizations on the FINSYNC platform, including best practices for onboarding and adoption.
Guide partners in designing entrepreneur pathways that connect education, financial management, and funding preparation.
Develop and implement strategies to increase partner engagement, tool adoption, and long-term utilization of FINSYNC services.
Adoption, Impact & Continuous Improvement
Monitor partner engagement, program performance, and platform adoption to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
Collect and document feedback, outcomes, usage data, and success stories that demonstrate partner and entrepreneur impact.
Use insights from partner feedback and data to inform internal teams and help refine partner enablement strategies.
Support partner retention and renewal by ensuring partners experience clear value and measurable outcomes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Growth
Collaborate with internal FINSYNC teams (Business Development, Product, Marketing, and Partner Success) to ensure seamless partner onboarding, adoption, and integration across the FINSYNC platform and CO.STARTERS where applicable.
Support ecosystem alignment by helping partners connect entrepreneurs with relevant local resources, lenders, and funding pathways.
Identify opportunities for program expansion, deeper partnerships, and ecosystem alignment within new and existing communities.
Stay informed about trends in entrepreneurship education, community development, and small business finance to continuously strengthen partner support.
Qualifications:
5+ years of professional experience working in entrepreneurship, small business support, community development, economic development, or a related field.
Demonstrated experience partnering with community-based organizations or Entrepreneurial Support Organizations (ESOs) such as accelerators, nonprofits, chambers, SBDCs, financial institutions, or education partners.
Proven ability to advise and support entrepreneurs or organizations that serve entrepreneurs in a professional environment.
Experience supporting the implementation, adoption, or scaling of programs, tools, or platforms within partner organizations.
Strong relationship management skills, with experience building trust and credibility across diverse stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple partners, priorities, and timelines simultaneously, with strong task management and follow-through.
Ability to anticipate future needs, risks, and dependencies, and proactively plan actions today to ensure successful outcomes tomorrow.
Experience collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams (e.g., business development, product, marketing, operations).
Ability to analyze program outcomes, adoption data, or usage insights and apply findings to improve partner support and decision-making.
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to translate complex tools or concepts into clear, actionable guidance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with or for an accelerator, incubator, or structured entrepreneur education program (e.g., CO.STARTERS or similar).
Familiarity with financial readiness, small business finance, funding preparation, or capital access concepts.
Experience supporting software or platform adoption in a SaaS, partner success, or customer enablement role.
Comfort using task management, CRM, or project management tools (e.g., HubSpot, Asana, Airtable, or similar) to track progress and dependencies.
Experience gathering and synthesizing impact data and success stories for internal or external stakeholders.
